Bio: Michael Grant Terry
EIGHT-WEEK FOUNDATIONAL TECHNIQUE SCENE-STUDY INTENSIVE: INTERMEDIATE
Michael Grant Terry received a double major in Theater and Cinematography from Emerson College. In 2002 he was an apprentice at the prestigious Williamstown Theatre Festival.
Hungry for more training after college, he began studying with Lisa Robertson and quickly embraced her technique which allowed him to deepen his exploration into his craft. Focusing on technique and specific script analysis sharpened his emotional range and allowed him to feel more free within the roles he was creating. In 2008, he booked the role of Wendell Bray on Fox’s hit series, Bones, which he was fortunate enough to work on for 9 seasons. Meanwhile, he continued to steadily diversify his work in the world of television in shows such as: The Closer, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Grimm, Castle, CSI and more. In 2017 he starred in the film, The Archer, which premiered at SXSW. In 2020 he was a co-producer of the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Michael (Mike) is always striving to find the active intention within the characters he portrays and understand their Dream of Life.
