FOUNDATIONAL TECHNIQUE FOR INTERMEDIATE | EMERGING ACTORS
OR: FOR ADVANCED ACTORS WANTING TO GET BACK TO THE FUNDAMENTALS OF GREAT ACTING.
Every actor must have a strong foundational core to their work… Whether they’re a new actor, an emerging actor, or someone who wants to get back to fundamental elements of great acting. In this 8 week intensive, Michael Grant Terry, who comes from a dynamic film, television and stage career, will teach actors how to use their intuitive self, access their emotional core and create the building blocks of rock-solid technique.
Actors will be taught Lisa Robertson’s Warmup + Emotional Core Work, which offers the actor immediate emotional access and an intuitive entry point for every character they approach.
Because of the fast-paced schedule, Television Directors will give direction sometimes to get a result: “You’re solving a crime.” “Pick up the pace!” “Look to the left of the camera.” Actors need to have active imagery and imagination, a deep understanding of their emotional core, and a specific vocabulary of intentions so that they’re not thrown. Their 'Dream of Life' should always be bubbling underneath the surface so that they can tap into it at any moment - because sometimes you only get one take.

2. DEPOSIT: Please follow this Paypal link and make your deposit of 150.00. Due to limited class size, we are taking applications for this intensive.
About your deposit:
**If the course fills, or you are not selected for this time, your payment will be fully refunded via Paypal.
For the actors selected: Upon confirmation of your place in the Intensive, your payment is due in full.
ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY APRIL 1.
If selected, you may still turn down your place within 48 hours, and your payment will be refunded in full.
If you are waitlisted and agree to be placed on the waitlist, your payment will remain with LRS, until 24 hours prior to the Intensive. If your waitlist place does not clear, and you are not offered placement, you will be refunded in full.
*If for reasons of contracted acting work or severe medical emergency, the actor cannot attend the Intensive, their payment in full, shall be credited to use for future LRS Intensives or LRS group classes in Los Angeles.
(No credits may be applied to Private Coaching with Lisa or with Mike).
**LRS does not offer refunds once a place in the Intensive has been accepted.
